It's only in this past few years that I've gotten really serious about my finances and started thinking about the future. I have no idea what I want out of life, but I am certain that whatever I decide I want to be debt free and cash rich by the time I do it.

I will use this site to track my net worth and spending and saving habits. I will also use this site to pontificate on whatever I feel like, but it will usually be about personal finance since that's all I think about these days.

I'm 30, I live in Brooklyn, NY, I do not own a car, I take public transportation and I rent an apartment with 2 roommates.

That is not me in the picture. Mr. Clipart Man will disappear once I find a suitable replacement or he may stay there forever to confuse people into thinking I'm selling some kind of productivity software.
