Why am I here?

Not that many people know I'm on this mission to get rid of my debts or that I have these debts in the first place. I come off as a very cool, collected, put-together person. When I socailize I rarely volunteer information about myself to others, even to those I consider close to me. I certainly don't share such detailed financial information. Who wants to talk about debt? Talking about someone else's debt just reminds you of your own. It's a depressing subject. My family doesn't know and frankly I'm embarassed to tell them. I told 2 of my friends what I've been doing, but they're not on the same path as me so it's not like they can give me a pep talk when I need it. I needed an outlet, someplace I could go to stay focused on my goal. BEHOLD THE BLOGOSPHERE!

I follow a lot of sites. Some I read everyday, others not so much. All of them, however, were on my "My Yahoo" page as RSS feeds. They quickly got out of hand, I needed a place just for them. A site was born.
