Forget what I said
I've resumed Wii sales since demand has returned to previous levels. Not that I have a lot to sell, but when I do get them they've been going for more than when I was selling them during the summer.
On the other hand I've taken a break from cd sales. 200+ albums in 20 auctions spread over the month of September has worn me out. I'll resume the music auctions in November. In the mean time I'm going to focus on getting more Wii's and auctioning off bits & pieces of my DVD collection.
Now that my debt is below 1000 I'm no longer going to try to get rid of it by November. I'm positive I won't earn enough extra income by then. Besides, it'll be gone by December anyway, I need to chill out about it and just be patient.
Lastly, I've started to buy Christmas presents. I know it's early, but this way the cost will be spread over several months
instead of a lump sum in December. So far I've only bought one. My 4 year old nephew loves trains so I went to the NY Transit Museum store in Grand Central to buy him a NYC subway wooden toy train, a train puzzle and a t-shirt with my favorite subway line, the "L." His is probably the only gift I'll actually buy in a physical store, I'm going to try to get everything else on online to save money.
