I've changed my mind
I know I said before any extra income would go toward my e-fund or Roth contributions, but watching that debt number go down gives me so much pleasure practically all my ebay money is going toward debt repayment.
If my cd's continue to sell as well as they have, along with my regular monthly payments, I might be able to pay it off by November! Can you imagine? Debt free before the new year and I would have the freed up cash flow to buy Christmas presents without stressing about it.
Now that my debt free life is literally just around the corner I need to re-assess my budget. One of the first things I'm going to do is increase my entertainment spending limit. Right now it's at 100/month. I think I'll increase it to 200/month once I'm debt free. Luckily I'm an Internet/computer junkie so it hasn't been that hard to curb my urge to spend and replace it with surfing the Web,
but it would be nice to not have to agonize
over what movie is worth seeing in a movie theater and what I should wait to order from Netflix.
I also need to make sure I don't fall into consuming more stuff again once my debt is gone. Moderation is the key, I don't need to end up with another CD tower.
